Interesting how he wants to come back to the AFC East after B.B. and Brady are gone.

This team is actually a good fit for his style. Ryan likes to run a 3-4 and they have a CB that can matchup with #1's in Gonzalez.

As he did in New York, (but not so much in Buffalo) he could provide a jolt of energy with the players. I remember Hightower in 2019 saying that he likes Flores' simplified attacking style which was in indirect shot at Patricia's read and react style. However, it would really take Ryan to swallow his pride to take a DC job with a team he absolutely hates for no reason (started in Baltimore).

Lot's of revisionist history. That entire 09 off season the Jets were loading up and it was pretty much all the media was talking about for the longest time. The defense was outstanding. It lasted two years. Then Rex never had another winning season. Then he went to Buffalo with one of the best defenses in football and ripped it apart and destroyed it so he could implement his system.
