Practice notes
A few quick practice notes from this morning:
* Eugene Wilson worked quite a bit at safety with the first-team defense, alongside Artrell Hawkins.
* Rookie Ryan O'Callaghan continued to work with the top group at right tackle. Brandon Gorin got some first-team work at left tackle.
* A few laps were taken today for players making mistakes, with defensive Johnathan Sullivan and Eddie Freeman taking one apiece. The whole defense took a lap at one point, with Mike Vrabel leading the way.
* Artrell Hawkins had an interception, while defensive back Willie Andrews, playing scout-team receiver, made a nice catch on a long ball over the middle.
* Looked like a heavy emphasis on the running game in this practice.
* Mike Vrabel spent most of the practice working at inside linebacker in the 3-4.
