I think it is pretty funny that teams have to call out someone they are ready for before each game. I mean who are they trying to convince? Themselves? The opponent? The media? The fans?
Calling someone out for certain games might be effective but when you do it every single game, doesn't it automatically hit the Ignore List?

I think it's more a function of all those "journalists" having to write about something. At some point, there's nothing interesting left to write about. By the end of the season, they'll probably report any time Haloti Ngata scratches his *****.
