Does he then become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year???
If they amended his contract to prevent the Vikings from franchising him as has been reported, does that transfer???
Would the team that selected him, even if he never played for them get the compensatory pick for him,assuming they exist in the new CBA??????
Sorry, more questions than answers....

Probably the reason everyone will let him clear waivers and then try to sign him as a FA if they are interested. He can tell them up front I'm not interested, and they haven't bought into a headache.
