DRAFT Pats select DE Jeremy Mincey at #191

Reading the NFL.com bio of Mincey, you have to question why he decided to come out early. They say he's a little raw, but had the talent to have a monster season next year at Florida and was likely to be a top draft pick.

Actually, he only needed 6 hrs to graduate. 2 yrs at a Juco in Kansas before he transferred to Fla. Said graduating was very important to him and his family. Sounds like a solid kid who is going to his personal first choice team. Staying would actually have been his 5th yr in college, although he would still have had eligibility.
