The New England Patriots have signed free agent OL Jeff Roehl to a one-year contract with a base salary of $350,000 (2006).

* The Patriots have signed offensive tackle Jeff Roehl to a futures contract, and have indicated they will assign him to NFL Europe. Roehl (6-4, 300) was with the Patriots in 2005 training camp, was cut before the season began, and didn't hook on with another team. A futures contract means the player will join the team when rosters expand to 80 next month.
