Pats Pre-season TV production is not good

Biggest frustration is that they don't seem to have followed the Pats before this season nearly as closely as even the average poster on this board. Did they really believe BB inserted Mallett for the purpose of "sending a message" to Brady?

I thought they were better this week though I didn't listen to a thing the PFW guys said. And I like Fauria. I like what he brings on the radio and these broadcasts. And we all know Chatham is real good. He obviously knows what he's talking about. I liked his story about getting cut in his 10th season during week 4 of pre season and how he couldn't pass a physical for other teams after.

My biggest beef is that they don't call the formation prior to the snap (e.g. "Amandola on top, Thompkins on bottom, Edelman in the slot"). With the high sideline camera view, you can't tell the numbers, so it's difficult to see who's who, particularly in pre-season with such a changing cast of players.
