Patriots Today - Belichick Breakdown
I was scooting through the Patriots media center today and whilst watching the breakdowns, it occurred to me that Hernandez's acceleration burst (during his run) on gaining the edge as Light seals off the defender is first class.
For anyone who has been involved with any sort of running at the elite level, you realize just how difficult it is to re-accelerate during the sprinting motion.
I'm interested to see if the Patriots plan on integrating Hernandez in the running game a little further. That could add a potentially devastating wrinkle to the offense given his size and mobility.
