They weren't built to stop the Patriots. They were built to stop Tom Brady. What they forgot or didn't count on is that there are other players on the offense, namely the RB's. The Pats ran on a team that was gearing up to stop the passing attack, and that's what good coaching is and we saw execution in the second half offensively that was near perfect.
