I sure hope they are right about the Patriots wanting to go after Adalius Thomas. He would be a great fit for the Patriots. Because of his size (6'2", 270) and athleticism he can play a variety of different positions, which would allow them to move him around (inside LB, outside LB, DE) and confuse the hell out of opposing offenses.

I would really like to see the Pats sign him.

If Dillon doesn't return, and don't get me wrong, I would love for him to return next season, I would really like to see Michael Turner in a Pats uniform. Michael Turner is young, strong, and fast. AND he runs tough between the tackles and in short yardage. I think a duo of Turner and Maroney would be fabulous. Dunno if Turner will be amenable to splitting carries though. Isn't he leaving San Diego in order to get out of the shadow of LT?

That would be a great scenario, but I think it is quite unlikely to occur. First of all, Turner is a restricted free agent, and the Chargers will almost definitely tender him at the highest level. Basically, that means the Patriots would have to give up a first and a third round pick to sign away Turner. I'm positive they don't want to give up two high picks for another RB.

Secondly, they'd also have to give Turner a HUGE contract. I'm sure they wouldn't want to do that, given that they're already paying Maroney first-rounder money.
