Seems to me that the fact that Seymour wasn't named a Captain doesn't bode well for his status post Week 6-9

It's not like they have a limit do they? Leaving Seymour off as Captain if he's planning on playing is like leaving Brady off as a Captain on offense.

Yup!

1) Threaten a holdout.
2) Sign a mega 3 year extension. Receive a $5M bonus.
3) Have a mediocre year.
4) Rehab and practice at home in the off-season.
5) Collect a $18M option (the choice was guaranteed salary).
6) Be put on PUP and collect $6M guaranteed salary.

Yes, I hope the issue is injury. And no, this isn't a player that I would elect as a team captain, although I expect that the PUPies and suspended were excluded from consideration.

I too am worried about the part I bolded.

IMO, this is his last year. He is a specialist and brings very little to the LB crew. IMO, His ST play has declined.

What's neat about that is that by saying it each year, folks are 100% certain of eventually being correct!
