This isn't a good thing with the Pats having to sign Seymour to an extension.

This also really bolsters the Panthers D-line.

That's why I wanted him as a back-up NT for Wilfork. He'd make a great one. However, I think that on a line with Peppers, Jenkins, and Rucker, you have one helluva stout line. And Kemoeatu is good at tying up multiple blockers. This could help free up Peppers or Jenkins ALOT.

Reports are that part of the reason they went so hard after the guy is that they're worried about Jenkins, given he's played 5 seconds of football in the last 700 days. Even without him, though, that's a terrific DL.
