OT: Bad calls cost Rutgers

A truly disappointing ending . . . but, honestly:

(1) End of 4th quarter--Why did they go for a pass on 3rd and 4 with a timeout to burn? If Ito makes that kick, Rutgers wins.

(2) Third OT--Again, why insist on passing the ball? Teel might well have been able to run it in.

OTOH, I still want Brian Leonard in a Pats uniform next fall. (Who wouldn't want an RB that can go past, around, through, or even over defenders?)
 
Rutgers blew it by being far too conservative in the first OT after WV had to kick a field goal. They should have gone all out for a TD as that would have ended the game right then and there. Once they left WV back in it seemed like just a matter of time. After playing audaciously all season, the Scarlet Knights' coaches turtled up and lost character at the very worst moment. The bold win, not the careful...
