I heard on ESPN, that the NFL is cracking down on celebrations. Supposedly, no players can go on the ground, ala, Steve Smith's pretend boat thing, Chad Johnson's pumping life into a football. No props are allowed, like T.O's sharpie incident, Joe Horn's cell phone incident, or even Chad Johnon's sketched marriage proposal to a cheerleader are not allowed. Some dancing is allowed, but not prolonged dancing, and break dancing are pentalty's by the way. In other words, if the ref deems the celebration bad, he can throw the flag, and that team gets a 15 yard pentalty on the kickoff. Not sure if any of you heard of it.

I agree with the league. A lot of that showboating has gotten out of hand and is contrary to the spirit of the game. Call me old school, but that's the way I see it.

When the team started with the bird taking off bit in XXXIX, all I could think of was ick! Jim Brown's saying that one should 'act like they've been there before' when getting into the Endzone sums up my views.

they were fun to watch but they got so over-the-top that the NFL had no choice... and they received sooo much attention and anticipation. does anyone else miss the Dirty Bird?
