My conscience would prevent me from ever putting a guy like that out on a football field again.

I have to agree. He's a great player but the risk to his long term health is to hard to ignore.

Having him out there after last year would be a dream come true in so many ways and a much better consolation prize to Mark Barron than Harrison Smith IMHO.

That being said I'd be terrified to send him out there to get paralyzed by a vicious hit. If and only IF a team of bi-partisan doctors gave him a up and up prognosis would I feel comfortable about it if I were Belichick.

I want him wearing a Flying Elvis bad but not at the cost of his livelihood after his pro-career.

I saw Daryl Stingley go down. Never, ever want to see anything like that again. Guy should quit football.

I think BB has met his quota for signing injured players lol... this guy is a hit away from being restricted to a wheel chair he should do himself a favor and retire for his own sake at least

His health is more important, and it looks that it's too risky to put him on the field again. He was a great player and it would be a shame, but after those McCarthy words about him... ugh.
