Obviously the AFC concerns us more but we have 2 weeks before our game and 1 week before we even know who we are playing.

Lets talk about the NFC some while we can

To me the order of threats are Dallas Seahawks Falcons Giants GB Detroit. To me Detroit is the only true "tomato can" of the bunch though they are better than Houston/Miami/Oakland right now i think.

I like how we match up vs the Cowboys even though they are the best team. They have issues stopping the pass and if we just slow their O down a fair amount I like our shots as I see Brady dropping 30+ Also I wonder if the moment may become too big for them.

The worst match up might be the Falcons. The Pats have not faced an O near this good all year (that was healthy). It would be a shock to them and they might take time to adjust however i don't like just how completely new this would be for this years team.

Seahawks are always scary but they have had a few key injuries. Obviously Earl Thomas is the big one but losing Locket hurts too particularly vs the Pats. The Pats have issues covering more than 2 true good WRs (graham is a WR not a TE). and Kearse/Richardson are a step down clearly IMO.

The Giants have the only D i take over ours right now I think (yes that includes Seattle/KC though not by much). The issue is their O. They don't have much going there beside one WR. Maybe Eli gets hot but they lack the HC this time and I have not seen it all year so i wonder if the HC was needed for it to happen. Still you need to respect their potential which is fairly high.

GB doesn't have much D. They can score though. I think they lack toughness and physicality particularly on O though which is not being mentioned. They have a smaller OL and though they have big WRs and a full back they rarely play with physicality. I wonder if you can smack them and stop them. Either way In a shoot out i believe our D slows their O down enough where as our O gets little resistance.

The Lions just are a clutch team with a lot of heart but a lack the talent hurts them. I wish them well but winning 1 game in the playoffs is more than i expect.

Any team you hope to see or avoid? We have 2 weeks so if there was a time to look ahead it be now.

Also one more thought. Any reason to be more concerned about GB over Atlanta? I see GB as a poor mans Atlanta this year.
