Michael Floyd wants to return

I've been thinking, Floyd must feel like he feel asleep in a drunken stupor at a traffic light and woke up in a fairytale. Cut by a deadend team, picked up by the best team in the NFL. Went from cut and maybe being out of work to collecting three postseason game checks. Well played sir!

Interesting size disparity:

Floyd is a beast. I knew he was a big dude but I didn't realize how big he actually is. id love to see him active tomorrow even if he's just blocking.

Maybe due to angle, stance and Floyd being nearer in the camera's field of view it skews the image. Otherwise 6'2" Floyd looks more than 1" taller than Hogan (listed 6' 1") and more than 3" taller than Amendola and Mitchell (both listed at 5' 11").
(floyd looks like a TE in the pic).

On a serious note, that flash of tough as nails productive competitor Floyd showed against Miami(?) would be out-friggin-standing timing tonight. Unfortunately he'll not get a chance to do that/we won't get a chance to see that, likely, due to the numbers game.

Come off season we'll see if (A) BB/JM believe in this guy's production capability (try to re-sign him) and (B) Floyd is looking foremost for the structure of professionalism and winning, and where "he likes it" (does he work to find a number him but also the team is comfortable with).
If BB/JM make no effort to re-sign him then it pretty clearly says they weren't enthusiastic about his ability to produce and/or his ability to work insanely hard within the program.

I want Floyd to come back, there is no reason to let a talent like him out the door before giving him an off-season and TC with this offense. BB fills his team with players that can perform one thing at a high level and unique to the team skill set.

I would welcome Amendola back if his 6 mill was spread over 3 years along with an incentive based on production. At 31 I believe his best option is to stay and play here.
