Majority of NFL players want to play for.... Pete Carroll

My grammar joke fell on deaf ears (or was terrible, either way).

So did mine, but their you go. I mean, many folks check they're sense of humor at the door when posting here.

Mr Kraft was obviously very fond of PC. Seattle was in many ways an ideal situation to come into -- super-rich owner, excellent infrastructure, no past record of success -- but he has done things his way and made the best of the situation. All credit to him. I'm impressed with how tough his team have been this year.

They're loaded. There is not a position on that team where you can point to and say that they're extremely weak at. They should be in the Super Bowl this year and, if Wilson doesn't do an impression of Dan Marino circa 1984 or Peyton Manning circa 2009, should win it. The interesting part of Carroll's tenure is going to be when the bill comes due for all of those excellent drafties that he built his team with on the cheap (like Sherman and Wilson).

Absolutely agree. And, of course, PC deserves a lot of credit for that. It took guts to decide that Wilson was the man. And he deserves credit for making something of Lynch when Buffalo had effectively given up. Of course, it's an open question whether he can turn his team into a dynasty when the rookie contracts end for some of those players. But no team can afford to pay all its players as All-Stars and it's no criticism of Carroll that that problem will face them.
