I don't know if anyone else saw LT's news conference but it sure appeared to me he was just happy and maybe even surprised to be in the up coming game against the Pats, kind of a i never thought we would be here thing.

His comments about the Pats being the best team in the NFL sounded a lot like he was not confident of being able to beat us.

I may be reading more into it then is there because he is not the best communicator on the planet but it sure sounded like making the AFCCG was a very satisfying achievement for him and his team.

People here said the same thing after the Chargers beat the Titans - that the Chargers looked too happy after the win and that they had no chance against the Colts as a result.

Don't read much into that. You think SD wants to give us any bulletin board material?

Heck, listening to BB gush about every team before we beat them makes people think he doesn't expect to win. It's all part of the pre-game psychological warfare: don't say anything to motivate the other team. Make them think it will be an easy win, that they don't need to try all that hard because they are so good.

Sounds like LT gotcha.

Well in fact the Colts fans were correct the Bolts should never have won that game against the Colts.

The Bolts only won because the Colts had what 4 TOs, come on man this is the playoffs how can a team in their own building have so many TOs. The Bolts did not beat you, your team beat themselves with there lack of discipline and focus and that is a problem of your coaching staff.

Last time I checked, defenses created turnovers. You act as if Manning decided to throw picks or something, or that Harrison just coughed up the ball on his own. The powerful hit from Cromartie knocked the ball out of Harrison's hand and our defensive players had the presence of mind to intercept Manning twice, like when Eric Weddle caught a deflected pass with one hand while holding a Colts lineman back with his other hand.

The Chargers won this game, it wasn't handed to us. In fact, we should have had 35 points in the end if the refs hadn't blatantly cheated by calling back that touchdown that Antonio Cromartie scored after intercepting Manning. Let's face the facts, the Chargers match up well against the Colts, which is why we've beaten them the past three times we've played them. Give credit where credit is do.

You need to go back and take a Football 101 class.

The Chargers have won three in a row against the Colts including two on the Colt's home field.

Not only did the Chargers deserve the win, it should have been by a larger margin. Cromartie's interception was 7 points taken off the board with phantom holding call, not to mention a couple other egregious calls, but that one actually stole points away from the Chargers.

If you turn the ball over you don't deserve to lose? Where do you people come from? Mars?

The point being that the Colts failed to execute even thou PM but up 400 plus yds passing on you he did not get the TD's to go with the yardage and this failure to execute cost them the game. This was the Colts game to lose and well in that they succeeded.

When you meet us on Sunday do not expect such gifts for we are a very ungiving team.

By the way we have beaten you the last two times we have met, once in your house and once in ours does this mean you are giving up and just conceding the game because of our recent history of success against you?

I think he and the Chargers are learning to play the humble role...finally! I don't think you'll hear anyone on the Chargers making bold or boastful comments this week. They realize the only thing that matters will be settled on the field.

LT says the injury isnt too serious. Iam wondering why no one in the media is asking him why he didnt go back in the game when their season was on the line ? iam sure if this was moss people would be questioning his heart and calling him out.

"The way we're playing now, nothing can stop us," Chargers defensive end Igor Olshansky said. "The way we overcome adversity and everything else. I guarantee you that [Patriots coach Bill] Belichick and everybody else over there are scratching their heads saying, 'Man, we better get ready.'"
