Unlike the 72 dolphins I think 35 years later the Patriots will not become bitter old men, any predictions out there? Maybe their post football resumes read similar to this:
Bill Belichick after his eighth SB championship this one comprised of only 6th round draft choices the U.S government finally recognizes his strategic genius and put him in charge of the military where he was able to go undefeated against Irag, Iran,& Afghanastan and bring peace which remains today. It should be pointed out that those were all road wins and he did it -7.5 yrs!
Randy Moss: Breaking Jerry Rice's career TD record allowed him shut up every critic there ever was so he was able to retire happily and open Rand Univeristy for motivational speaking. His time with the Patriots taught him how to harness all of ones abilities and go all out no matter how dire the circumstances. He has helped thousands with his teachings of discipline and hard work.
Vince Wilfork: After his career was over he was approached by a talent agent who was in the stands the night that the Patriots beat the New York Giants to finish thier season 16-0. While there he witnessed Wilfork's eye gouge and knew that he would be perfect for the All New 3 Stooges where he has flourished for years.
Tom Brady: We should have known that the Patriots unreal regular season record 16-0-0 was a sign of things to come. You know the rest of the story President Tom Brady moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and stayed there and beat FDR record by winning 4 terms setting the country on a course for prosperity to last generations.
John Edward Thomas Brady: At thirty five years old he has called it a career after remarkably matching his fathers six Super Bowls with six Belichick Bowl (you remember how they couldn't change the name of the Lombardi Trophy) victories he feels that it is time for a new challenge plus he has had this cure for cancer thing rolling around in his head for years believes now is the time. End of an era.
