Just wondering: value of VIP training camp package & Brady signed game jersey?

re: Just wondering: value of VIP training camp package & Brady signed game jersey?

You would have to send the signed bobblehead to the authenticator. Because they have to verify the signature. If they determined it authentic, they would create a certificate that proves the signature is authentic. Leave it in the package because it loses its value if you take it out. You might want to contact them to make sure.

I would get it authenticated personally, but there is no requirement to do so. If you ever try to sell it, you will have a hard time getting value without it though. With something like a bubblehead, I might check out JSA's site and see if they will be in the Boston area anytime in the near future so you don't risk breaking by shipping.

Thanx

Any range of cost?

re: Just wondering: value of VIP training camp package & Brady signed game jersey?

I won a Patriots package which includes a VIP trip to Training camp and going to a home game in the putnam club seats for this season. They briefly mentioned that I will be getting a signed authentic Brady jersey. What I didnt know is that the signed authentic brady jersey is a signed game worn jersey. How much do you think a signed authentic game worn jersey is worth?

I collect this stuff and have for a long time.

Here's the deal. You basically need to make sure you can get some vital info from the guys that give this to you:

Assuming it's real game worn Jersey, and I have my doubts that they would give you one of those, but if that's what they said, then you just won the damn lottery - you need to find out what game(s) he wore the Jersey in, if it was a regular season game, it's worth more - If the game was an important or memorable game, it's worth even more - and if it was a playoff game, it can add to the value again. They will know what game he wore it in as they are all marked by the equipment managers.

It's called a building a Provenance for the item and it will pay off big for you.

Brady ONLY signs for Mounted Memories and Tri-Star these days, and he has done that for a while - So if they do not authenticate the signature (and they probably won't if he signed it at the stadium), you really need to get something from the team authenticating the Jersey - A Patriot Letter head will work. You can do that yourself, but it will require you to send the Jersey out and get it looked at and then certified.

Don't get fooled by people saying you can get $20k for it - At auction (you can pay a 15-50% fee - BTW) it can go for somewhere between $5k-$10k. If it's from a memorable game, the limit is what someone is willing to pay for it - One of Brady's sold before the Super Bowl for over $46k, it was from the Cowboys game last year.

It's all about WHAT game it's from and if that was an important game - Brady is ultra-sensitive about his stuff and everything like this goes thru his sister when given for auctions or charities.

Hope that helps! If you want to sell it and it's real - Let me know.

It's only about $50 plus shipping costs. At least I am pretty sure it is. A JSA certificate on a Brady signature though will get you at least $200-400 in return if you sell. If you don't have a COA (Certificate of Authenticity), you aren't going to get much of a market for any signed goods even if they 100% real and you were there when he signed it.

Also, on that fact, if you do get Brady to sign it, take a picture of him signing it if you can. It helps to prove that he did.

If the team gives you a certificate of authenticity, that is enough.

For sure, That's all he needs.

Yeah, I forgot about Tri-Star. I thought they had the exclusive. I didn't realize Mounted Memories had his stuff too. Either way, he has really pared back on his signing merchandise. Real Brady stuff is getting harder and harder to get. The good news for KDPPatsfan is that the jersey will only go up in value.

I know buying stuff from the Patriots Pro Shop, signed merchandise does come with a COA and holgram. I would assume that any signed merchandise they give out in these events will have the same authentication. The team's COA and hologram is as good or better than any independent service like JSA.

Given all this talk of Brady only signing for this company or that and getting certified and what not made me curious.

Lets say you got an autograph at camp. How do you get that certified?

Send it to PSDNA and have them authenticate it for you.

I would not use anyone else. Get it authenticated and graded.

Thanks for the info. I am not sure what game it is from, but they said it was a game worn brady jersey and signed. They said its in the package being delivered to me.

If you are wondering how I won this... 2 years ago I won on a second chance drawing from the CT lottery on the Patriot scratch off tickets. I won a travel package to see the Patriots play the Redskins. I saw that, but when tax season came, they send me a W-2G claiming that trip was worth 18,000. It was really worth 1800 so I threatened them with the IRS and consumer protection. They called me back with a whole new package. I get 2 VIP tickets to training camp. I am going August 3rd and I get free food and drinks. Then I get to go to a home game in the putnam club seats(I dont know how much those are worth), a 100 dollar food waiver, private tour of Gillette Stadium, Get to be on the field pre game and post game, a merchandise package with a hoody, polo shirt, cap, duffle bag, and a game worn signed brady jersey. I still have to pay the taxes for the 18,000 but it is worth it now! This is a great experience and they are allowing me to bring my son who is turning 1 to training camp!

Sounds like a incredible haul!

Good show. I'd really like to know about the jersey when you get it - I would find it fascinating if they sent you a game worn jersey from a Future Hall of Fame'r that is currently playing for their team. The type of controls they (NFL and Teams) place on items like that from players like Brady rival secret service type of protocols.

Either way - Frame it and hold on to it!

Just curious, but why is he so "sensitive" about his stuff? Is it like he doesn't like being bothered with it, or he just doesn't need the money so he doesn't bother doing these type of things?

I've never been an autograph collector or anything, I am just curious how it all works.

re: Just wondering: value of VIP training camp package & Brady signed game jersey?

Brady's DNA is on it, so I would say $5,000,000.
