Jagr to Bruins

Not a bad deal.

Y! SPORTS

After losing out in the Jarome Iginla sweepstakes last week, the Boston Bruins GM went out and got his upgrade on the wing by acquiring Jaromir Jagr from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2013 conditional second round pick and two prospects, according to Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News. Those two prospects are Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne, so says TSN's Bob McKenzie.

Hopefully we see this soon:

Lucic - Krejci - Jagr
Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin
Soderberg - Peverley - Horton
Paille - Kelly - Campbell

Too many people looking at Soderberg this year. I just don't think it is a reality. He is still playing in Sweden, down 2-1 in a best of 7 series in the playoffs. Earliest he could finish is this Friday. Then Bruins still have to sign him to a deal and then hope the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation will release him to be able to come to Boston.

he's old...but still has 14 goals this season...more than anyone on the bruins

I feel like this guy has been playing since the 70s...like he never ages. Half the bruins roster probably had his poster up in their room as a kid

He can still score and is a great set up man...very very hockey smart

scored a goal in his first game...so i guess it is working out

1 game...1 goal..and had about 3 other good chances at one
