Tough thing for these unheralded rookie free agents attempting to achieve a career in the NFL. Making it to the 53 is a great achievement, working massively hard to get meaningful snaps, to get that chance. Then getting cut from the 53 has gotta sting and present a bit of a mental challenge to not let it knock down your dedication for the huge hill to climb.
Good luck to him on the PS -- I hope he can keep working on/improving his game to the point he's too valuable to not be on the 53.
