Could you imagine Ravens rookie DT Haloti Ngata lined up with Richard Seymour, Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren on the Patriots' defensive line? That would have given the Patriots four first-round picks in their front four--and it could have happened. The Patriots were interested in Ngata, but he was taken by the Ravens nine spots ahead of New England's position in the first round. That the Patriots were set on the defensive line would not have deterred coach Bill Belichick from taking another lineman; he would never pass up a front-seven player he thinks could be special.
