Great article. Favre is a self absorbed shythead. I was so glad when I THOUGHT he retired so I wouldn't have to see his tired act every year. He's like a serial killer in a slasher flick, he just won't go away. They should do a remake of that Bill Murray movie and call it "What About Brett?" What a turd.

And to those who ask what would we do if Brady was in the same situation?

The answer is easy, Brady has enough class not to put himself in such a position.

I just feel bad for Aaron Rodgers getting jerked around every year. I can just imagine what he said when he heard that Favre wants to come back. #%&@!

Brett Favre needs to go away. He sounds like a little whiny ***** who has to have his way. F him. If I'm the Packers FO there is no way I give him his release. He's under contract, and retired on his own accord. I'd trade him, or tell him he can come back and compete for a starting job. Meanwhile I'd let teams know he's for sale. However, the cost would be high. At least a 2nd rounder for an AFC team, and certainly a 1st for any team in the division. Favre had a great season last year, but he's been very mediocre, to awful, for a few prior. If not one gives the compensation desired, then he stays or doesn't play.

I wouldn't even worrry about letting him go within the division. At this stage of his career, he's aboutr as dangerous to GB as Drew was to us in 2002.

Cut ties and let him go.

Thinking of Packers Fans as New England Fans... we all love Tom. What if he starts having flip-flopping seasons over the next couple years and scraps Tommy for say... Matt G?
If Brady has the years that Favre had since 2000, and he did the flipflopping, and we drafted a QB in the FIRST ROUND (not UDFA like Gutierez), then we'd have the same drama as GB. It wouldn't make Tom right, but fans tend to thing of what a player has done in thye past, not what he can dop in the future, and there would be some angst.

One thing, if we had a save brady rally on a sunday afternoon, there would be more than 200 people showing up. Although that was better than the 30 Favre fans that showed up in Milwaukee.
