After learning of the hapless 0-16 Lions changing their logo as their most significant off-season improvement, NYJ first round bust Gholston was so inspired by the briliance of that move he changed his team uniform number.

Gholston Wardrobe Change: From 56 to 50
 
The article says nothing of the Lions, just that Gholston wanted his old college number previously held by eric barton
