I've never played any form of fantasy football before but I'm going head to head against my brother in a DFS league (i.e. non-draft, change your roster every week). The points seem to be roughly the same as the likes of Draft Kings. Here is my team for week one:
QB: Carson Palmer (Figured that the lack of a decent running game and going against the Saints' depleted defence)
RB1: Adrian Peterson (Doesn't need much explanation but I don't think Kaepernick and that 49ers offence will having too many long drives so AP will be on the field a ton).
RB2: Doug Martin (cheap, has looked good in pre-season and teams tend to run more than pass with a rookie QB)
WR1: Dez Bryant (Giants defense.)
WR2: Kendall Wright (A possession guy for Mariota)
TE: Julius Thomas (Huge upside and safety blanket for Bortles. Was also cheap).
DEF: Vikings (See 49ers Offense)
K: Josh Scobee (Patriots bend but don't break defense FTW)
Any glaring mistakes with the players? Any irrational explanations. Would appreciate any thoughts.
