Pretty much what we have been saying here. I love the Steelers fan who seems to be under the delusion that Pats, Colts and Seahawks fans were the only ones who noticed the officiating. I popped over the Redskins board and there is a Worst Officiated Superbowl Ever? thread. I suspect there is one on every NFL team's board, except the Steelers.

Pats 'cheating' comment

The last comment on that thread at the time of writing is about the Patriots winning the SB by cheating.

I was in England for all the Pats' championship years, so please bear with a newbie and briefly explain to me what this is about...? What do opposition fans believe the Patriots were doing that was cheating back then?

The Colt's are never happy with officiating. Aren't they the one's who called for less contact and complained that the other teams were too physical? Hence allowing Dan Marino's Golden record of 48 TD's to be broken illegitmately. They don't count on officiating topics in my book. And imo to some degree, are partly at fault with some of these cheesy calls we have been watching.

Well, you are absolutely right, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the game tonight was just poorly officiated. Fans of other teams also agree....not just Colt fans.

And you'd be right. On the board for the Seahawks team run by the local paper out here (I'm in Seahawk country, but not a Seahawks fan... I'm not from here LOL) and some fan had went to every official team site he could find, and in every one there was a thread dealing with this exact topic...

First off, my condolenzes (sp)
That was the sorriest display of officiating in SB history IMO
I visited a few teams sites just to check out reaction from around the league.
The consensus is your boys got screwed!
