Hearing Meter's voice is like nails on a blackboard to me. He sucks at just about everything he does. If he wasn't born with $$$ he would be a greeter at Walmart.
"As dumb as he is, he is no worse than one caller calling in about how the Pats stole three Super Bowls, Clemens is innocent, and Schilling is faking his injury so he can come back in September and look like a hero".
That would be the cementhead "Joey from the North End", a Yankee's fan and all around douchebag.............
I want to give Meter a break here ... cut him a little slack. Compared to Gresh ... he's the greatest ever. There is nobody I hate more than Gresh ... he is the morons moron. When I used to listen to the score I remember he used to lose the football picks contest ... such a loser. How this blowhard has survived this long is anyones guess.
The deciept comes from not wanting to get caught cheating.
Think about it go back to the classroom with a crib sheet. Yes any normal person would try to make it small so no one could see it. But if some idiot had one that was the size of a poster he would still be cheating. The teacher would see it and still call it cheating. The student wouldn't than turn around and say I am not cheating because I am not trying to decieve you. Wouldn't work. .....
First of all if you find a person who tries to 'Cheat' by taking a
poster size cheat sheet to class then I'll buy what you say.
People who 'Cheat' try not to get caught. Lets get real world ... OK?
When you run the speed limit ... are you cheating? No you are breaking
a rule. You get caught and fined.
If you get caught jamming a police radar depending what part of the
country it happens you can get a severe fine even jail time. Police can
detect an attempt to jam their radar. Here you are trying to Cheat the
police radar.
Look up the definition of Cheat ... there is an implied or obvious reference
to the concept of deception in most definitions of the word cheat.

You might be on to something there. Between all the Roger Clemens and Spygate talk it's hard to get any real sports talk at all. I turn on my CD player if I hear Roger's name mentioned.
