He usually owns up to the completely blatant ones that he has no choice but to admit they did a bad job. The 50/50 ones are always pro-ref

The only way you can contend that the forearm created separation is if Gronk is being held. Otherwise this just physics, the contact is carrying the defender in one direction and Gronk cuts in the other. This is the danger of playing bump and run.
