Yep. Signed a 1 day deal before he was inducted into the Pats HoF in 2015.

I fully expect VW to do the same and be inducted into the Pats HoF

I read somewhere that Willie actually had a workout with the Lions in 2011. He was still trying to play in his late 30s.

I really hope he can slim down after retirement. Diabetes runs in his family and he needs to get that BMI (which is a bogus measurement IMO) way down.

One of my all time favorite Pats. Great on the field and he and his wife were great contributors to the community. There is no doubt in my mind that Vince retires as a Patriot because that's what he is and will always be thought as.

I wonder if it would be possible for him to be cut after Houston loses in the playoffs and he signs with the team in the playoffs. I don't think he would be likely to see a single snap but it be nice to have him on the 53 and see if we can't get him 1 more ring and have him go out like that.

I'm curious if it's allowed or not. The pats did a roster transaction with cutting Tiquan Underwood the day before the superbowl, signing a DL off the practice squad.

Wouldn't want to cut anybody, but if Dola is still a no go it would be awesome to have Big Vince in there, even if it's a better storyline than football move.
