Bedard Revis Interview

Revis strikes me as a very thoughtful man. When he speaks, there aren't many wasted words. Seems very well grounded.

Very cool that he and Kraft have that direct relationship. That could come in handy.

Interesting that in the article he said, "It is what it is" twice.

Very smart guy. Knows a lot about football...and business.

Translation. BB smothers his players with rules and regulations when it comes to speaking to the media. If you're stupid enough to give the media more than the Patriots allow, you will be smothered. If you're smart and keep your responses concise BB will let you be yourself. WW has been known to put his foot in his mouth on occasion (yes/pure pun)

BB thinks that a lot of things one can say to the press interfere with winning games (or with preparing to), and tells his guys not to do them. That's well-known.

While I'm an anti-censorship extremist when it comes to government action, and am generally suspicious of anything that smacks of fetishizing conformity, I don't have a problem with BB's approach.
