Aikman just made a good point about SB. He said the refs change out the ball after every single play. He said a new ball throws like a wet one. He said he had a lot of problems with that. He thinks Seattle will not have that problem from experience with wet conditions; but he didnt know if it would bother Rothlisberger.
Then I switched to ESPN and they pointed out that Ben has been on field for 50 minutes warming up. Much longer than usual. They said he was throwing from every spot up and down the field.
Coupling that thought with the thing BB said in someone else post about teams getting tired (esp defenses) late in the games due to the long day; that brings 2 questions to my mind.
1. Will Ben sail a few or slip a few passes becauses of the 'wet type' balls?
2. Will Ben be extra worn out in 4th and not take advantage of a tired Seattle defense?
Things to watch for anyway.
