Since the back judge is from Bill Leavy's crew, and Bill Leavy is a ref in the playoffs, why not leave him with Bill Leavy rather than with a ref he doesn't normally work with. Wouldn't it be better to keep people with their normal ref and then fill in the gaps?

Bill Vinovich has been announced as the Super Bowl ref. I hope he gets a different crew. They did not call holding by the OL and it hurt defense more. They also had hard on for Revis.

Like last week, Gene Steratore had Cowboys @ Packers but 2 of his regular guys were in Foxboro working with Bill Vinovich. Blakeman had a wildcard game and Vinovich & Anderson have 1 member of his regular crew each. Then this week there's the guy with Anderson who's in Corrente's usual crew and he has the NFCCG!

These all star crews are nonsense when playoff refs lose the guys they've had all season for seemingly no logical reason.

It would seem to make more sense to me to also grade entire crews during the regular season and then have the highest graded crews do the playoffs.
