I got out my Pro Football Weekly and Sporting News Pro Football 2006 season PREVIEW magizines.

Here's what they predicted:TSN: AFC East- Patriots 11-5, Dolphins 10-6 Jests 6-10 Bills 6-10 PFW: AFC Eastatriots 10-6, Dolphins 10-6,Bills 5-11, Jets 3-13:singing:

Play Off teams: PFWatriots,Steelers,Colts, Broncos,Dolphins, Cincy: TSNolphins, Broncos,Patriots, Chiefs,Colts,Steelers

SB: TSN: Steelers over Panthers PFWanthers over Colts.

Notice who was not predicted to be a playoff team by either publication.

Just thought it would be interesting to some to look back at this.

Which I am mildly surprised by that, considering how close they came to making the playoffs like year... You remember what they kept saying last year? That San Diego was the best team to not make the playoffs...

All of the publications picked the Broncos to repeat as AFC West Champs. Everyone figured the Chargers would take a big step back with Rivers at QB.

Nobody figured on Ladainian going absolutely nuts. And they certainly never figured Rivers would play big in big games.

So much for the experts.
