After next year's 2011 draft, if there's no new CBA, what are the chances that a lot of the incoming rookies won't have contracts entering the summer and onwards? I can't imagine the owners will be so willy-nilly about handing out signing bonuses if a labor stoppage is pending. This would all depend upon how long a potential holdout lasts, but how screwed would they be? If it lasted the whole season, they would all re-enter the draft. Utter chaos (if it came to that). Would they just make contingent signing bonuses (if there is such thing)?
