There is a difference between defending Wallace and point out ignorant posts. Something you still haven't learned despite years on this board.

Wallace may be cut. He may not be. Only Camp will tell. Clearly Vrabel, McDaniels and Marrone felt he showed enough to warrant another full camp. They're the ones who will make the final decision.

You are wasting your time defending him and don't know when to pick your battles. A problem you can't seem to shake.

You know if we didn't Draft him they would say he Sucks and he's a bust. Flip the script and he's the second coming. I'm wondering why is he still on the Team?? Wallace doesn't even deserve a Taxi squad spot yeah he's that bad.

That's how it works here. **** on a player who is drafted elsewhere, but give the guy time when NE drafts him. You will know by year two at the latest if they have what it takes. It's not rocket science. It's why myself and others have little patience for these guys and it's because I know the trend.

You know how many players drafted within the first 3 rounds who needed at least 2 years to show anything significant? If you guessed a whopping ZERO, you are correct. The Pats in the last 25 years have not have a had a player that was invisible the first two seasons, only to flip a switch by year 3.

Only people with too much time on their hands care about or even defend Wallace. They clearly haven't seen the trend for NE draft picks in the last 26 years now. It wouldn't shock me if his ass is cut.

Wallace is simply a player that Vrabel thought enough to keep on the 53 all last year in order to bring him to camp this year.

He has shown less than nothing so far.

He is one of many competing to be a backup guard. I doubt that he will make the team. It is not a matter of being shocked. He isn't a favorite to make the team since he cannot backup at center as well as gone.

1) The 2025 OL was an enormous improvement over the horrible 2024 OL and was good enough, even with injuries, to be adequate to get us into the playoffs and to win a couple of playoff games.

2) the OL and Offense will be in the second year of the new system.

3) We replaced Bradbury with AVT as one of the 5 starters, with Brown continuing as the top backup inside.

4) We replaced Lowe with Lomu

CONCLUSION
The OL should be at least as good as in 2025 and will not prevent us from being successful.

He may lose the starting job to a rookie and he may fit in well here if he's cut. He was rumored to be trade bait to Baltimore, and I expect he could be had for less than a 5th round pick, especially since the Bears don't currently have a pick in that round .

Even with part-season injuries to both AVT and Moses, we still have a reasonable OL, certainly better than last year.
Campbell, Brown, Wilson, Onwenu, Lomu

And just BTW, iron-man Moses rarely gets injured.

I don't even mention our further emergency depth in Bryant, Crownover, and perhaps another IOL (Rizy, Rupcich or a fa).

Bawlmore just signed former Cleveland Center Ethan Pocic; so I'm not sure they'll be persuing Bradbury at this time...

We'll find out this year. When he has a real guard and a real fullback, and not Wilson and Westover. Can't say they didn't load up for him.

Wasn’t there one spectacular play last year where he started right and it was blown up so he had to make a house call going left? Didn’t look like any struggle at all, except seeing if Vrabes wanted him to score or go down to bleed clock at the end.

That play was great but an outlier. Running plays have a designed hole(s) to run through and commonly the defense blows up the design and the RB has to adjust. It is a quick hit adjustment. The RB's speed is not the same thing. We drafted a RB Pierre Strong and we traded him because he could not adjust - simply ran straight ahead at high speeds. Henderson, like all RBs, has to be shifty to find the hole and then accelerate through the hole with his explosiveness. It is the shifty part Henderson was not great at during his rookie year. That is my concern. We will see.

With better blocking, a year in the NFL, Josh's system Hendo is expected to be better. He showed real explosiveness last season as a raw rookie.. He definitely projects to be a better all around player.. IMO..

Cap kid had some of the most explosive plays 911 yards was pretty dam good for a rook..

At the RB position we probably hadn't had since Dion Lewis.. he was a rookie and rookies are far from perfect.. with better players around him he will have every opportunity...
