What’s pathetic is how Dart generates more conversation and outrage than Josh Jacobs.

Obviously Dart did something far more egregious by being a republican. Jacobs only beat the hell out of his girlfriend, which is no big deal and certainly nothing for the media to get excited about.

And Abdul Carter generated more controversy than both by just tweeting about Dart's decision to stump for Trump.

Not to get political, but we live in a polarized society where people look at politics as tribes and put their loyalty to those tribes over anything else. That is why those things are more controversial and generate more outrage.

I am not saying it is right. It is wrong. I personally couldn't care less whether a professional player endorses Trump or anyone else. Nor do I care if another player calls them out for it. I got more important things to care about in life.

But then again, I really don't care if Vrabel or any other coach has an affair. He ain't my dad. Russini ain't my wife. That is their personal business and that is more TMZ crap than anything relevant to football. Show me Vrabel violated NFL policy or rules within the affair, then you might have something.

Vrabel also generated far more outrage than Jacobs for what amounts to an affair. I guess because... he's a Patriot? I realize there's the whole "she's an NFL reporter" angle but I doubt the vast majority of the people up in arms about it actually cared about that part.

What I'm curious about is if he was never let go by Tennessee and was still their coach right now when this came to light, would it have gone anywhere?

This is a league full of domestic abusers, drug abusers, gang members and worse. It’s the National Felons League.

The notion Mike would be ostracized, fired or judged harshly was a laughable one… like I said months ago when it happened.

I am hoping this whole thing is over but I wouldn't be surprised if some more photos leak around camp. Someone seems to have an axe to grind with one of them and has been strategic about releasing the photos. I think Vrabel weathers the storm if it is more of the same so it would really have to be something like proof he is actually the father of his kid or something like that. Honestly I lost interest in the whole thing a month ago so I am hoping it is on and everyone moves on with their lives.

For you or me that would be fine. But when you are the face of the franchise and Trump and politics are so divisive. You introducing him and yelling Big Blue you now have brought the devisive politics that is tearing our country apart into that locker room. You are saying all you Giants fans that love Trump to also stand tall. If you have 50% or more of your teammates that do not like the man then you really have pissed them off and created a distraction. You have tied their team to the man. It was a bone headed move. When he retires then I am all for freedom of speech and choice. Right now he represents a team and its community. You need to act mature especially being only in his second year.
As I said I hate both parties and the vast majority of politicians. They all represent their party getting stronger and them getting re-elected not the people. Especially the working class.
