Neither Stidham or Hoyer have proven to be better pocket passers than Cam. Cam put up insanely good pocket passer numbers with Norv Turner before he hurt his shoulder, just 18 months ago.
Platoon doesn't make sense but I'm sure some of the Boston media troll writers will push this narrative of a competition.

All I can really do is read the tweets that the sportswriters put out there, so this is hardly any sort of in-depth analysis... having said that, it sure seems to me like there are a helluva lot of INT's being thrown by everyone, with Newton being the least bad of the bunch.

Exactly. These little daily articles on NESN and elsewhere where they turn one quote into six paragraphs of speculation seem more appropriate on an internet message board.

I guess they gotta have something to write about? Seems lazy, like a better use of time would be to research an actual in-depth story or provide analysis, oh well.

Opening game BB unveils the amoeba offense. Hoyer under center, Stid and Cam as halfbacks. Before the snap Hoyer drops back into shotgun and the snap goes to a different one of them each time. Occasional flea flickers included.

would just need to do it for the first quarter of game 1 then trot it out for sporadic plays through the season to keep DCs worried about it...
