He, and everyone else, should be done with Microsoft products in general, including their OS. Windows is pure garbage, as is pretty much anything else put out by Microsoft.
Windows used to be great back in the day when it was all desktops. That was in the 90's through the early 00's when Apple products absolutely sucked. They've had a hard time adapting to modern technology with tablets and more advanced laptops coming along.

Now I understand why he threw a tablet during that Bills game.

I've never been impressed. It was decent enough up until about Windows 7 (but not great) and then it went downhill fast.

There's a reason why most supercomputers, most web servers, a lot of electronic appliances/devices, etc., run Linux.

That's fair. Part of it might also be that I grew up when Windows was most prevalent in the 90's, so growing up Windows was all I knew honestly. Never liked Apple PC's, and never even used Linux.

I refuse to use Windows 10. The only reason I really have to use Microsoft products is for gaming. Hopefully Vulcan API is in full swing by the time Legacy Windows products lose support from Microsoft. It'll be all Linux from there on out I hope.

our new surface pro's have a 50% failure rate in the first 60 days of use....thats just the start of our problems...and thats for a global software company....real bad.

Linux doesn't have the wide market support needed to support a corporate environment.

Linux is already running the corporate world behind the scenes. You may not notice it, because they don't really need it to be running on their employees' systems, but their servers are likely running on Linux. There was a study not too long ago that revealed that about 90% of Fortune 500 companies rely on Linux in some way.

A lot of big trading firms, including the one where I work, that push an obscene amount of money, use Linux for their trading systems.

Not for nothin', but IIRC Bill wasn't throwing that tablet because it hadn't worked, he was throwing it because he was REALLY pissed at some call they made on the field. I thought the camera caught him in a VERY animated discussion with (he was yelling at) an official just before he deep sixed the tablet.

So he may have a problem with the tablet being unable to "do its job", but I wonder if, in that instance, it was something else that cost the life of that tablet.

BTW- how long do you think it will be before some NFL sock puppet like Jeff 'even I can't believe I'm still a HC' Fisher is quoted as stating how well his tablets are working and what a help they are.

I feel it must have been a combination of the two. I seriously doubt Bill would have ditched the tablet like that if it was doing its job and assisting in play review, play calling, or whatever else it's designed for
