I’m only lukewarm on Biden although obviously I’ll vote for him. The corn pop video was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. When he started talking about how to sharpen razor blades on the curb I lost it. Maybe we can at least agree on that.

You guys have to decide which hill you want to die on. You are losing your minds trying to defend all this. You say: "Trump had a travel ban to contain the virus. It wasn't racist" I say: "The virus isn't contained if he's letting people in" You say: "What we can't let our own citizens in...

If you're going to impose a travel ban to prevent the virus from getting in, and you allow some people in, then it's not going to be a very effective ban.

If you allow Americans to return from China but don't let Chinese nationals come in then it's xenophobic. They each have the same chance of carrying the virus.

I’m just checking in since we disagreed on this a few days ago. I think we can avoid 30% of the country being infected if we take extreme measures. More extreme than the ones that have already been taken. In reality, I think most people are gonna get this virus though.

I think this thread is great and as someone said above, kudos to the mods for keeping it open. We’re gonna go through some tough times in the next few weeks and any sense of community is important, even if it’s a bunch of weirdos on the internet that you don’t always agree with politically...
