They are all blowhards only spouting off because they think it keeps them relevant. If Brady wins the back-to-back SB with Tampa and Mac Jones turns out to be a bust then maybe those jerks are on to something. Even then, it's questionable.

OT: Did the Pats Consider Trading Brady Instead of Bledsoe After SB 36?

Brady was the Superbowl MVP of the Pat's first Superbowl win and Drew had a 7-year resume at this point...kind of a dumb question really.

    Brady clowns the right

You should quit while you can still climb out by yourself.

    Sadly enough, that's the truth.

That's what puzzles me the most and how he stays relevant after going to that well over and over for almost 20 years. I guess it's more of a testament to the New England sports market more than anything and quite pathetic actually.

I'm all for a contrarian point of view and someone independent of the marketing strategies used by the local sports teams, but his schtick hasn't changed since 2005 when he started promoting the end of the Patriot's run and the coming demise. I don't even think he really believes half the crap...

I know that this is already widely known, but Felger is such an azz-sucking mouthpiece. How is he still taken seriously on Boston sports talk radio?

Keep the top two lines in place. 3rd and 4th lines are always replaceable. Plus, they’re gonna lose someone to the Kraken in the expansion draft and they have some young guys in Providence frothing at the mouth and ready to play. They need to give Swayman the keys to start the season and pick up...

If there is such thing as a "system goalie" then he is it. Tuukka is like a tech weenie between the pipes. When he has to improvise or make that extra effort that goes beyond the technical aspects of his game, forget it. It's like he has no emotional reaction to losing.

The '78 Bruins shoulda won the Cup, but alas they ran into one of those goalies that could take to the next level, Ken Dryden and again in '90 only to be shut out by a goalie with a huge phucking chip on his shoulder...Billy Ranford. I think they should give Swayman a serious look for next year...

No one hates Rask. I still root for him, but until he proves me wrong I don't think he can put this team on his back like Tim Thomas did in 2011. I actually love this team, but Bergy is in the twilight of his dominance as a center and really want to see him win another Cup. I would love nothing...

Sorry, but his record speaks for itself. Great talent is usually limited to the top two lines of every team. After that the skill drops off and it is based on which team finds the hardest working and most committed players left to run its system and schemes. That's where the netminder makes ALL...

    Bruins Playoff Discussion Thread

If you don't think you can win the Cup with Rask then what's the point. His price will be too high, you have two potential NHL-ready goalies in Swayman and Vladar plus you can always pick up a veteran back-up like Halak, Ullmark or Bernier if need be. I would much rather see them sign Taylor...

    Bruins Playoff Discussion Thread

The problem is Rask's track record since taking over after Tim Thomas. I've been a Rask fan the whole time, but I'm okay if they let him walk after this season. From his game 6 performance against the Blackhawks in 2013, bailing on the playoffs under the bubble last year, game 7 against the...

Unless you have a backstop that can make those saves when he has to.
