    2025 Draft: LBers

That's what you think! I'm in it to win it!

    2025 Pro Days

We've had good success with Rutgers defensive backs in the past, that's for sure.

    2025 Pro Days

Still better than Deatrich Wise or Chandler Jones. Could play a similar role.

Player Signing Patriots sign Eagles DT Milton Williams

Fantastic signing. The defensive identity is starting to crystalize as an aggressive, fast unit. Really love it!

DK Metcalf officially requests a trade (UPDATE: He's a Steeler)

Ugh. Steelers always end up with receivers. Ah well. Life goes on. Gotta turn to the draft now.

Player Signing Patriots sign corner Carlton Davis

LOVED watching Davis in college and I projected him here as a press man corner. Better late than never. This makes my day! Best starting duo in the league.

    2025 Draft: RBs

Yep. Not disputing that. Only pointing out that we have some solid mid round options at play. :)

    2025 Draft: RBs

More yards from scrimmage and 25% more TDs than Hampton, although slightly lower yards per touch. Same size and similar testing, though Judkins jumped better (all time great figures at his size, really) and had a faster 10 yard split. He doesn't have the same long speed, but he's still a big...

    2025 Draft: RBs

I'm a lot higher on Judkins than you are, but otherwise that's a solid list. Good class to pick up a young workhorse.

    2025 Draft: Defensive Tackles

So many good DTs this draft. We ought to be able to get a solid run-stuffer and pass-rusher. Williams could be an anchor kind of guy.

Who Is Your Pick At 38 Game? (Pre-Free Agency)

Assuming players I have rated more highly already went in the first: Darian Porter Emeka Egbuka Mason Taylor

    2025 LT

Sometimes players just do better on one side vs another. Maybe their LT was terrible at RT, but Brown could play either, so they put their best pair on the field instead of having a standout LT and a mediocre RT. Spitballing here, but there could be extenuating reasons.

    2025 Draft: WRs

Who do you like in this draft? I'm waiting for some substantive analysis . . .

    2025 Draft: WRs

It's also why the sun will cam doesn't always quite line up with the reported speed. Worthy, Golden, and Bond were all about a step apart. Regardless of any synchronization discrepancies, there's no way that .18 seconds is the difference of two strides. With two sprints you get a little bit of...

    2025 Draft: WRs

I'll try to give you a real answer. The NFL's dirty little secret is that they manually start the timer. The electronic time might be a laser finish, but they're still started by the guy with the stopwatch. You have to take even official forty times at +/- .05 or so IMO. It's a lot more useful...

    First Round Grades Post Combine

Interesting! I'm actually starting to come around on a few of the WR prospects, even Harris and Macmillan. ;) What do you think they're lacking to earn a 1st round grade?

    "Not Worth The 4th Pick"

Light for a run defender. He's a sub-package rusher only early on with rumored character concerns. He's a talent, but how much risk is associated with the pick?

    "Not Worth The 4th Pick"

Great summary! Membou maybe? Man. This is hard. I'll sidestep and say I'll feel more comfortable answering after free agency.

    2025 Draft: WRs

I've been down on him all year, as have a few others, due to the type of routes he wins/loses on, his lack of consistent release packages against press, and other reasons. I've always considered him more of a mid-to-late-first kind of talent, and not running when I already had concerns about his...
