Agreed. May even make things worse. I'd prefer they not be full-time. That puts them completely under Roger's thumb. The way it is now they have plenty of non-NFL income so he has far less of a lever over them than they would if they were full-time.

Agreed. That was the play where I knew for sure the shoulder injury was worse than everyone was letting on. I'm just curious if it actually happened in the Denver game or if it was earlier than that and the Denver game only aggravated it.

I'm wondering if the shoulder is why Maye's only runs were when a play broke down and things opened up -- that the team didn't call any designed runs because they didn't want to expose the shoulder to more hits. And some of those passes just didn't look right. Not trying to make excuses though...

Yep. The moment that extension happened was the moment where the decision to ditch JG was ultimately made. I’d love to know — and we’ll probably never find out — if BB did that extension of his own free will or if Brady did a Bledsoe and got Kraft to order it.
