4th and 3 is a bad time to risk a penalty for simulating a snap count. I don't have a moral or ethical issue with it, but situationally, you are risking giving a team a free first down instead of just staying on side and waiting them out for a low percentage play or a timeout.

On the contrary, thanks to those three rushes in a row, we get to kneel three times and end the game because the Colts don't have any timeouts to prolong it. It's not exciting football and it makes the game closer, but it's the higher percentage play call.

We had a 13 point lead with less than four minutes to go, and we forced them into using their timeouts and we got a good punt off to pin them inside their own 20 with just over three minutes remaining. Seems like a decent result to me.
