Right. You can't do it all, but if you look at our current roster, and factor in how bad our pass rush was last year, I am not comfortable crossing my fingers at the Edge position. Would much rather cross my fingers at RT.

That just means there are no bonafide studs at the top of the draft. Woods bad 2025 and Banks health contributing factors. There seems to be a lot of good options after rd 1.

I will comment on the 1st rd approach listed in your post. That description is definitely applicable the last 2 drafts when you're picking in the top 5. picking at 31 is a whole different ball game.

Thats why I really like the draft forum, much more civil, however there are some who still want to tell you how right they are, and if you disagree they feel they need to get offensive. Overall tho, the draft forum is great football discussion.

Trading up from 9 to 3 would be very costly for KC. They have a lot of holes, not smart imo. So as a Pats fan, yes please KC make the trade.

Every year we hear these stories. Every year 95% of them are wrong. Maybe this is the exception.

DJ had Schwesinger his 40th ranked prospect in his final rankings last year. He has Rodriguez 42nd this year. Difference is negligible. Schwesinger was a riser throughout the draft process, very similar to Rodriguez this year.

I'm sure a lot of GMs woulda said the exact same thing about Schwesinger before the draft last year. Sure looks worthy of a top 20 pick to me.

I like Allen even with an AJ trade. Pop and Boutte probably aren’t here in 2027, gotta restock the coffers.

I put our past failures more on BB. Wolf gets blame for Polk and Baker, rightfully so. Those picks were made prior to Vrabs and Stretch. We are in better hands now.
