ESPN layoffs: Ryan Clark gone and more to come | (Updated: ) Tom Pelissero expected to be out at NFL Network

People also always talk about how that Chiefs player went offsides and gifted NE the championship. Correct me if I’m wrong but the drive before, weren’t we driving to only fumble the football? Why do people not talk about this more? The Chiefs get gifted a fumble recovery and nobody mentions that

Or when the Queefs during the 2nd half (maybe early 4th quarter) committed BLATANT ****ING OFFENSIVE PASS ****ING INTERFERENCE but the zebras all saw nothing and the play stood: 1 30-yard Mother-****ING TD

"They" also don't mention the biggest missed call in that game, the pick (more of a block) that set up one of KC's late TDs.

I also remember a couple of phantom PIs on the Pats.

The difference is that the Pats overcame the calls and KC didn't.

Oh owners care about money, cash, mola, dineros, ca ching first last and everything in between only. I agree in reality player safety is a big fat non issue but it SHOULD be and as a fan I would prefer quality football over quantity and that means not asking too much of players bodies. Though I do think they've gone too far not allowing defense to hit but that's another topic for another day.

Not trying to change your mind just trying to understand in the very specific kind of game you are talking about where both offenses score at will....what difference does the each get a possession make? It still ends on the team winning the coin flip being able to end the game on a field goal. Isn't that the winner is still decided by a coin flip?

Edit: It sounds to me like you prefer college OT both teams get a possession to match as many as it takes?
I really hate this argument because it cheapens the game and makes it more like Arena league BS

They should have never changed the OT rules. Coin flip, sudden death was perfectly fine.

Don't like it? Win in regulation

Both teams have defenses btw, but a lot of NFL "fans" don't seem to like that fact.

Found the play: 4th quarter, 2:55 remaining, 2nd/10 from Pats 40, Pats leading 24-21... Chris Conley runs into JC Jackson nearly 3 yards downfield...Just after the 13:00 mark...

Good, Clark was a racist moron.

That's the one I was thinking about. That was a textbook example of a pick play except Conley actually blocked Jackson and didn't just get in the way.

Ref was also right there in position at the bottom and decided not to call it. Obvious pick clearly past the 1 yard buffer.

It must be brutal for the others laid off in favor of that social media chick they hired a while ago. We live in weird times.
