Mike Macdonald got Super Bowl advice from someone with a "conflict of interest"

Remember when Tom Brady said before the Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl that he didn't have a "dog in the fight"?

Just because McDonald worded it that way doesn't mean it was literally that. But to him Brady diming out McDaniels offense could be seen as that

I'm sure Tom gave him incite as he was recruiting Kubiak. It's a ****ty move. But whatever info Tom gave McDonald was a moot point because the game plan was quite simple which was to attack the left of the line. Both Campbell and Wilson weren't strong at the point of attack and were prone to getting pushed back into Maye. I've already posted articles of players mentioning this and I'm not doing again - so don't ask. The Seahawks secondary had the night off.

I don't think Tom Brady would ever do such a cynical thing. But TB12, the corporatized version of that guy? Yeah, him I'd believe just about anything. There was a time I liked the player and the person. But that person hasn't been around in a long time.

Nice media fodder but totally irrelevant anyway we got whipped and couldn't block them, they didn't need insights they saw the film of the offensive line trying to block for 3 playoff games.

Will Campbell was on one leg and was basically a turnstile, that was more relevant than any inside source or any information about McDaniels offense.

Unfortunate, and unnecessary. Assuming this is true.

I know he was annoyed with BB, but he is gone. The rumors that Kraft refused to give him a deal to buy into the Pats like he got with the Raiders makes sense why he may have animosity toward the Pats.

For a guy with a statue outside the stadium he clearly has something against the franchise. I do think he wanted Seattle to win because he was hiring Kubiak from them, so I think if it was the Rams this doesn't happen.

I don't care what anyone says, if Tom Brady is passing on detailed info on how Josh's system works to the Seahawks while we have Drake in his first year in the system it's a huge advantage to the Seahawks.

September 9th is going to be interesting.

Brady was jealous and butthurt that the Pats were having so much success with Maye and that Pats nation had moved on from kissing his keester. Its like Parcells used to say about coaching "You're not winning right now so the last Lombardi don't matter" Brady's worst nightmare would have been for the Pats and Maye to win the Super Bowl last February.

But, I doubt that Brady's intel had that much of an impact in beating NE. Everything was already on film. Campbell was already struggling in the post season. The Texans pushed him around like he was on wheels. McDaniel's has always had a tendency to abandon the run in big games and he stayed true to form again.
