I was surprised that da Bears used their 2nd-round pick on a Center after already using their 5th-rounder next year on one. And if they really really had to have one there, I'm not sure if I wouldn't have taken Jake Slaughter instead of Jones anyway...

That's not happening.

I could see a couple of late trades involving 6th rounders. We are no longer high on the claim list so it will cost a pick if we want one of the late cuts.

He’s sucked since he got paid. Was it scheme, fit, injury, lack of improvement or all of the above? Let’s see if this works out for them. If he regains form, he & Delane could be quite a duo. We shall see..

It's not like the team really ever took advantage of that benefit during the last 4 years anyway...

We also need a low-wage vet (or Two) in our defensive backfield.
