Draft Rumours 2026

For me it depends upon who is available at various point in the draft. I think Offthe Ball LB and Edge are the top priorities , but I don't think they should force anything.

If by "Force" you mean "reach" or "over-draft" I agree with you.

I've said for awhile now that if the RT and Edge that the Pats want are both there at 31 when it's time, Vrabel is going to have a tough decision to make.

Like every draft I have my binkies. Concepcion, Ineachor, Gabe Jacas. Ted Hurst, Delps, ..... Just depends upon how the draft falls?

Iheanachor, Golday, DDS, Rutledge, Roush, Heidenreich, van den Berg.

That is a natural. The problem is, will any of Bailey/Reese/Styles be on the board?

Right now, most likely scenario for first 5 picks is:

1. LV: Mendoza
2. Jets: Reese/Bailey
3. Ariz: Bailey/Reese
4. Tenn: Love
5. Giants: Styles/Downs/Tate

If the Giants take Styles at 5, that throws a wrench in the trade up plan.

DJ speculates that the Jets will trade up for Carnell Tate. Bailey (or Reese)/Tate would be quite the haul with three 2027 firsts to come.

Blimey!

Jeremiah on Marlin Klein

"He's my 5th TE. I think he's got a very good chance at going on day 2. I wouldn't be stunned if he got into the bottom of the 2nd round because teams are looking for these hand in the ground Y TEs that have size, that can block but also have some speed and the ability to make plays down the field".

The man knows ball

Max Iheanachor is Jeremiah's 32 ranked player in his final rankings. Touch and go.
I think that a 32nd ranked OT will be gone by 25.

OT's are drafted higher than their ranking, especially in years when there is such a huge lack of OT value in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Lots of teams want an OT and likely have at least one of the OT's on their 1st round boards.

Of course, Miller seems to be sliding. It is not at all clear what that means.

Hoping they take KC Concepcion or Malachi Lawrence.
